Pennsylvania Cattle Take Top Honors in ROV Angus Show

HARRISBURG – Cherry Knoll Elsa 1610, the winner of the early junior yearling heifer class, exhibited and owned by Cherry Knoll Farm, West Grove, Chester County, and shown by Tim Fitzgerald, earned Grand Champion Female honors in the Roll of Victory Angus Show on Friday, October 6, at the 2017 Keystone International Livestock Expo in Harrisburg.

Maryland 4-H Member Tops 252 Youth in Stockman’s Competition

Harrisburg – Kyle Schulze of Woodbine, Maryland 4-H captured the top individual honor on Friday, October 6 at the 2017 Stockman’s Contest at the 2017 Keystone International Livestock Exposition in Harrisburg. His many hours spent preparing for the contest paid off, as he was awarded Keystone Junior Stockman of the Year. Schulze was also on team that placed sixth overall.

Pennsylvania’s Outstanding Collegiate Exhibitors Awarded Scholarships

Six livestock enthusiasts received $9,000 in scholarships rewarding their leadership development, showring success, scholastic merits, an interest in the livestock industry as a career path and participation in the Keystone International Livestock Exposition during the 61st show’s opening ceremonies Thursday, Oct. 5, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.

Four Pennsylvania Youth Named Outstanding 4-H and FFA Youth during 2017 Keystone International Livestock Expo

HARRISBURG – Four Pennsylvania teens were named Outstanding 4-H and FFA Youth during the 61st Annual Keystone International Livestock Expo, held in Harrisburg on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Nominated by their county Penn State Extension educators and agricultural education teachers, respectively, each honoree excels in agricultural activities and serves as a model member of their respective organizations.
