Indiana Heifers Reign Supreme during Jr. Beef Show at 2019 Keystone International Livestock Expo

Harrisburg, PA – The Grand Champion SimGenetics Female named S&S CSCC Ms West Coast, exhibited by Mackenzie Neal of Hagerstown, Ind., was selected today as Supreme Champion Heifer of the junior show during the Junior Breeding Beef Pageant at the Keystone International Livestock Exposition (KILE) at the PA Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.

Reserve honors went to the Mainetainer heifer CULL S/T Spice Girl 8204F ET, exhibited by Bailey Tomson of Westport, Ind.

Neal received the $500 award sponsored by EMM Sales and Service, Inc.

Judges John Grimmes, Amanda Schnoor, and Lydell Meirer evaluated the entries.

The Keystone International Livestock Exposition is the largest livestock show on the East Coast, with more than 1,300 beef cattle, 650 horses, 1,200 sheep, 450 swine, and 200 Boer goats. This year, nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 29 states and Canada are competing in livestock events. The show also includes the 12th Annual Keystone Classic Barbecue Competition, a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event to select the state's finest culinary competitors.
