Harrisburg, Pa. – Chris Clemson and Ken Buhler, of Chardon, Ohio, owners of Chip and Rock, set new heavyweight pull record for the Keystone International Livestock Exposition with a full pull of 27 feet, six inches at 12,650 pounds.
The Pennsylvania Draft Horse & Mule Association also presented the team with a Memorial Award in Memory of Chuck Nutwell, a Needmore, Fulton County Pennsylvania pulling champion who lost his life earlier this year. His mother, Barb Nutwell made the presentation.
Second place winners were the Brown Brothers, Keith and Tom, of Acme, Westmoreland Co., Pa. with their horses Kurt and Chart. They took second place with their 14-foot, 3-inch pull at 12,650 pounds.
The tenth-place team, owned by Casey Harriman of Muncy Valley, Sullivan Co., Pa. won the Teamster Award. Horses Rock and Buzz made a full pull at 7,850 pounds.

2nd – Kurt and Chart, owned by Keith and Tom Brown of Acme, Westmoreland Co., Pa., with their pull of 14 feet, 3 inches at 12,650 pounds.
3rd – Buck and Sonny, owned by Bonacassio and Clemson, driven by Victor Bonacassio of Rochester Mills, Indiana Co., Pa., with a pull of 8 feet 3 inches at 12,650 pounds.
4th – Pete and Rex, owned by Wooster and Newman, driven by Nate Wooster of Canton, Bradford Co., Pa., with a full pull of 27 feet, six inches at 12,050 pounds.
5th – Jimmy and Mike, owned by Larue Austin of Columbia Crossroads, Pennsylvania Bradford Co., Pa., with a pull of 18 feet,1 inch at 12,050 pounds
6th – Hershey and Doc, owned by Jeff Martin of Punxsutawney, Jefferson Co., Pa., with a pull of 21 feet, 11 inches at 10,850 pounds.
7th – Barney and Oliver, owned by Tom Brown of Acme, Westmooreland Co., Pa., with a pull of 16 feet, 8 inches at 10,850 pounds.
8th – Doc and Rock, owned by Brindle and Napier, driven by Joe Catterton of Dunkirk, Md., with a full pull at 9,050 pounds.
9th – Bob and Bob, owned by Jeff Martin of Puxsutawney, Jefferson Co., Pa., with a pull of 23 feet 5 feet at 9,050 pounds.
10th – Rock and Buzz, owned by Casey Harriman of Muncy Valley, Sullivan Co., Pa., with a full pull at 7,850 pounds.
The Keystone International Livestock Exposition is the largest livestock show on the East Coast, with more than 1,300 beef cattle, 650 horses, 1,200 sheep, 450 swine, and 200 Boer goats. This year, nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 29 states and Canada are competing in livestock events. The show also includes the 12th Annual Keystone Classic Barbecue Competition, a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event to select the state's finest culinary competitors.
