Harrisburg, Pa. – CSF Ramsey Teva’s Mercy Me ET, the spring yearling class winner, exhibited by Ray Ramsey of Greenfield, Ind., earned Grand Champion Female honors in the National Hereford Show on Friday, October 4, at the 2019 Keystone International Livestock Expo in Harrisburg.
GGSC Merry Jane 22F ET, owned by Kaylie Shelton of Fredrick, Md., earned Reserve Champion Female honors.
Mary Carter Shirley of Sparta, Tenn., exhibited the Grand Champion Bull with her junior yearling bull, RW KLD Ruger 109 7029 ET.
WD 2296 Woodrow Call 7134, owned by Walker L Dunn of Cochranton, Crawford Co., Pa., was Reserve Champion Bull.
Billy Elmhirst, of Indian River, Ontario, Canada, judged the show.
The show is one of six national Hereford shows across the country that award points an animal can accumulate in pursuit of show bull and show female of the year honors.

The Keystone International Livestock Exposition is the largest livestock show on the East Coast, with more than 1,300 beef cattle, 650 horses, 1,200 sheep, 450 swine, and 200 Boer goats. This year, nearly 1,000 exhibitors from 29 states and Canada are competing in livestock events. The show also includes the 12th Annual Keystone Classic Barbecue Competition, a Kansas City Barbecue Society-sanctioned event to select the state's finest culinary competitors.
